Boardman murder victim's family trying to raise bail for suspect

BOARDMAN, Ohio - The family of a murder victim is trying to help the suspect raise money  for bail.

Bond was reduced on Tuesday for 28-year-old Tequila Haskins, who is charged with the June 4 stabbing death of Brian Tubbs.

Police say the stabbing capped a domestic argument between the two at a Moyer Avenue home.

Court officials tell 21 News that Tubb's relatives are trying to help raise money for Haskin's bond.

Investigators say Tubbs was stabbed with a kitchen knife after Haskins discovered him with another woman.

The Mahoning County Grand Jury will now decide if there is enough evidence to put Haskins on trial.

The couple's two young children are staying with relatives.
