AUSTINTOWN, Ohio - People laced up their tennis shoes to help battle in the fight against cancer tonight in Austintown.

The annual Relay for Life event was held at Austintown Fitch High School.

Cancer survivors, families, friends and residents hit the track to raise money and awareness about the deadly disease.

Walkers also had a chance to enroll in an American Cancer Society research study that is looking into the genetic, environmental and lifestyle factors that cause or prevent cancer.
