Two vehicles crash in Boardman after attempting a right-hand turn

BOARDMAN, Ohio - A semi truck and a car collided around 2:40 on Tuesday.

The accident happened at the intersection of Route 224 and Market Street.

According to the State Highway Patrol, the semi truck was in the right travel lane and the car was in the right turning lane, and both attempted to turn right.

The driver of the truck, Peter Gerard Wozencraft, claims he had his turn signal on, while the driver of the car, Mary Rihely of Beaver Falls, Pa., claims he did not.

The semi truck belonged to company called Prime Incorporated out of Springfield, Missouri and was carrying pineapples.

Traffic was never stopped for the accident, just slowed, and no one was injured.
