Cleveland sketch comedians perform for Packard museum fundraiser

WARREN, Ohio - The National Packard Museum hosted a movie night with Cleveland sketch comics Big Check and Lil' John as part of their Spring 2013 fund raiser trying to raise $7,000.

The event featured the legendary Big Chuck and Lil' John who are known for hosting a weekend movie program with sketches laced throughout the breaks. They presented some of their skits live for attendees.

Visitors also got to view the museums historic vehicles and were treated to a viewing of "Plan 9 From Outer Space," a cult classic for sci-fi fans.

Robert Walton, with the museum, says events like the one held Saturday, are critical to keeping the museum alive.

"We're here to preserve the legacy of the Packard family, the Packard car and the Packard electric company," Walton says. "All the money raised will be used for the function of the museum."

Hundreds turned out for the event.
