COLUMBIANA, Ohio - One suspect has turned himself in after being identified in a car theft after some help from Internet users and a social networking site.

Columbiana police say that Matthew Faulkner, 21, turned himself in to police Monday. His brother George Faulkner, 26, is still being sought by police.

The victim Daniel Lappert, reported the car stolen after two people took a car Lappert was trying to sell out for a test drive and didn't return.

Lappert went to the social networking site Facebook for help. He posted pictures of the stolen car and descriptions of the two suspects. Users responded stating that they had seen the car and could identify the suspects, particularly from a tattoo on George Faulkner's neck.

Police confirmed the information gathered from Lappert and eventually found the car the same day it was stolen.

Both suspects are charged with grand theft auto. Matthew Faulkner has a preliminary hearing scheduled in court for June 27.
