Strawberry Festival, Parade, and Live Music

Arts and crafts, food vendors at the Village Hall

Strawberry Festival at Poland Presbyterian Church

Parade begins at 7:00 p.m.

 

Saturday, June 29th - Poland Village Hall

9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Arts and crafts show

10:00 a.m. 2nd annual Poland 5K Race - Baird Mitchell Field (kid's 400 meter race begins at 9:50 a.m.)

11:00 a.m. Dedication of the Ohio historic marker for the site where President William McKinley's childhood home once stood.

Poland Library Activities

10:00 a.m. Games, William McKinley reenactment, local author appearance, and book sale

Noon, 2:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m. Duck races on Yellow Creek

12:00-3:00 p.m. FREE petting zoo & pony rides (sponsored by Poland Rotary)

1:00 p.m. A guided tour of historic South Main Street at 1:00 p.m.

3:00 p.m. Cornhole tournament

Bounce around toys- behind the Village Hall

Fireworks at Baird Mitchell Field at 10:00 p.m. on Saturday

    FINDLAY, Ohio (AP) - Authorities in northwest Ohio are still trying to identify one of two people killed in a weekend plane crash. One of the victims in the crash near Findlay was the CEO of an Ohio manufacturing company. A coroner was trying to identify the remains of a woman killed in the crash, but the Hancock County Sheriff's Office says DNA testing may be needed.
