Sebring business honors marriage anniversaries

Posted: Updated:

SEBRING, Ohio - A Sebring business celebrating 50 years in the Valley is honoring 50 years of marriage.

Copeland Oaks, a faith-based retirement community for active adults age 55 and older, hosted a luncheon for couples married half a century or longer on Thursday.

"It's just really neat to see that many people who have spent their lives together and when you think of all the accomplishments of what they've done over the years and their lives together, it's just really a room full of amazing people," says Copeland Oaks Executive director Phillip Braisted.

One couple attending Thursday's event celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary.

The special luncheon was capped off with wedding cake.
