Posted: Updated:
AUSTINTOWN, Ohio - Organizers say Wednesday night's Austintown Township Fireworks Celebration was a huge success.

The show, which came back after a seven year hiatus, had a turnout of nearly 5,000 people.

The event was held in the Austintown Township Park, featuring food vendors, entertainment, music and a fireworks display to tunes from The Sound of Music.

It was the first fireworks display in Austintown in seven years.

The $25,000 donated from a number of organizations and individual was enough to put on a 22 minute show.
