Tree punctures through house in Liberty Twp.

Posted: Updated:

LIBERTY TWP. - A family in Liberty is counting blessings Wednesday night after a fallen tree causes minimal damage to their home.

Apparently, high winds uprooted the tree.

Members of the Baumeier family tell 21 News that the tree was at least 80-feet tall and over 100 years old.

The way it fell in front of their home, only one of the branches punctured through a bathroom.

The family says the only other damage was to a sewer line in their basement.
