Ohio State Highway Patrol investigating life-threatening motorcycle accident

HOWLAND TOWNSHIP, Ohio - Two men are hospitalized, one with life-threatening injuries, after a two-motorcycle accident at the intersection of North Road and Crestview Avenue.

David Robinson, 50, of Williamsport, Pa., did not yield to oncoming traffic while attempting to make a left-hand turn on to Crestview Avenue at 10 p.m. Thursday night. He was travelling northbound on North Road on his 2007 Harley Davidson.

Nicholas Cost, 56, of Warren, was travelling southbound on North Road and struck Robinson with his 2001 Big Dog.

Neither men were wearing helmets and both were ejected from their motorcycles.

Cost was transported to St. Joe's Hospital with life-threatening injuries while Robinson was taken to Trumbull Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.

The crash remains under investigation by the Warren Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
