CLEVELAND, Ohio  - Cuyahoga County Court records show that the suspect in the deaths of three woman in East Cleveland is originally from Lawrence County.

Criminal records list the place of birth of 35-year old Michael Madison as New Castle, Pennsylvania.

Madison was charged  with three counts murder on Monday after three bodies wrapped in trash bags were found in suburban Cleveland.

It's not known when Madison moved from New Castle. A search of Pennsylvania court documents turns up no criminal record in that state.

Records from Cuyahoga County show that Madison was convicted of attempted rape in 2002. He was sentenced to four years in prison and was declared a sexually oriented offender.

In 2000, a judge in Cleveland sentenced Madison to six months in jail for drug possession.

Madison remains jailed on $6 million bond.

According to the Associated Press, authorities say they have only identified one of the victims - Angela Deskins, who was believed to be 38 years old.

The aggravated murder counts could bring the death penalty.
