NILES, Ohio - A man arrested during a raid on the city's east side is indicted on 35 counts in a child pornography case.

The Trumbull County Grand Jury's released William Brock's indictment Wednesday afternoon.

Brock was arrested in July during a raid of his home at 832 Mason Street when state and federal officials combed his home for evidence in a child pornography investigation.

The 65-year-old faces 19 counts of pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor, felonies of the fourth degree, and 16 counts of pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor of the second degree.

Trumbull County Assistant Prosecutor Gabriel Wildman says the second degree felonies relate to the production of such material. As evidence is examined, more charges could surface.

"This case has been investigated by multiple agencies, it's still being investigated as we speak and all the time, new charges are coming forward," Wildman says.

Digital files make up the majority of the evidence and Wildman says that's becoming the common thread in most child pornography cases he tries.

Brock, wearing red pants and sporting a beard during his arrest, is described by his neighbors as a nice guy, who would often talk to the children on his street and call himself "Jolly Old Saint Nick."
