Posted: Updated:

NORTH JACKSON, Ohio- There is a new library in North Jackson.

The new $2 million Tri-Lakes Branch opened to the public Monday.

The North Jackson and Lake Milton branches, which closed last month, have merged into the new 6,000 square foot building.

"People love the new library. It's so much bigger and has a lot more items to offer and a lot more services for everybody," said Librarian Linda Kucalaba.

A formal dedication ceremony is scheduled for August 13th at the branch.

Library hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays; 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesdays. The branch will be closed on Fridays and Sundays.
