21 WFMJ & WBCB will broadcast 4 Penguin road games this season

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - 21 WFMJ and WBCB announce that they will televise four of Youngstown State football’s five road games in the 2013 season.

All of the games will be Missouri Valley Football Conference contests.

On Saturday, September 28th, the Penguins game at Southern Illinois will air on WBCB at 7:00 p.m.  Last year, YSU lost to the Salukis at Stambaugh Stadium, 38-21.

Indiana State will host the Penguins on Saturday, October 5th.  WBCB will carry the game beginning at 3:00 p.m.  The Sycamores fell at YSU, 27-6, in 2012.

WBCB will air YSU at South Dakota on Saturday, November 2nd at 2:00 p.m.  The Coyotes are coming off a 1-10 season, including a 13-10 road loss to the Penguins.

Then, on Saturday, November 9th, the Penguins travel to rival Northern Iowa for a 5:00 p.m. game that will air on 21 WFMJ.  YSU snapped an 11 game losing streak to the panthers with a thrilling 42-35 home win last season.

·         Saturday, September 28 – WBCB, 7:00 P.M. @ Southern Illinois

·         Saturday, October 5 – WBCB, 3:00 P.M. @ Indiana State

·         Saturday, November 2 – WBCB, 2:00 P.M. @ South Dakota

·         Saturday, November 9 – 21 WFMJ, 5:00 P.M. @ Northern Iowa
