Trumbull County works to clean up debris from Wednesday storms

HARTFORD, Ohio - Severe weather on Wednesday afternoon left fallen trees across many roads in Trumbull County.

Around 2:50 p.m., two trees were reported down on Hayes Orangeville Road. About an hour later, Hartford Fire Department enlisted the help of Vernon Township and South Pymatuning Fire Departments to help clear the debris.

All of the roads are now open.

Other areas affected by the weather include:

  • Perry Township, Mercer County - Tree down across Perry Highway
  • Woodhurst Drive, Austintown - Wires down across the road
  • North Palmyra Road, North Jackson - Wires down across the road
  • Mill Creek Park, Youngstown - Tree down, possible wires down
  • Kinsman Road, Kinsman - Tree down between Summit and State Line Roads
