Climate change campaign stops in Youngstown

Posted: Updated:

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - President Obama's campaign to get the public to act on climate change came to the valley on Friday.

The "I Will Act On Climate" bus has been touring Ohio, and made it's final stop at the Historical Center of Industry and Labor.

Organizers are preaching that everyone can do their part in helping to improve a long term problem that has no easy answer.

"We can change the way we live. Group your trips together, so you're not going out multiple times." said Dr. Martin Abraham, Dean of the STEM college at YSU. "Take a bus, if you can take a bus. Ride a bicycle or walk. Change the air conditioning temperature.  Instead of cooling to 72, cool to 74."
