Niles ready to show off stadium renovations

Posted: Updated:

NILES, Ohio - When the high school football regular season kicks off it is usually referred to as the fastest ten weeks of the year.

The Niles community is excited for week three when they host West Branch and christen the new Bo Rein Stadium Eastwood Mall Field.

The renovations include turf, paving around the field, a new entrance way, a memorial wall and a new visitors side press box.

This $700,000 project is the third renovation in the stadiums 80 year history.

The improvements were possible thanks to many donors.

Booster officials hope to make more renovations in the future, such as new building for locker rooms and the concession stand, as well as updating the press box.
