Suspects sought in robbery of two YSU students

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio- Youngstown Police are looking for two suspects who allegedly robbed two YSU students.

The armed robbery happened around 12:30 a.m. Thursday at 472 Norwood Ave. Youngstown State University police say that the suspects, described as two teenage males around 15-20 years old, pulled out a gun and robbed the students while they were sitting in a car after returning from a party.

The suspects then fled toward Belmont Avenue.

This is the fourth robbery reported involving YSU students. Last weekend, three robberies were reported near the YSU campus. Those suspects have not been identified as of yet. 

YSU sent out another Text Alert to warn recipients of the robbery shortly before 2 a.m.
