BOARDMAN, Ohio- A keyboardist who currently plays with Hall & Oates and has been with the group the last 10 years, kicked off a solo tour in Boardman Thursday.

Singer, guitarist and keyboardist Eliot Lewis performed at the Magic Tree Pub and Eatery.

Lewis is on the TV show "Live from Daryl's House" Saturdays at 11 p.m. on WBCB. He said that he has been lucky to be the only band member that has done every show.

During his down time between the TV show and playing with Hall & Oates, Lewis releases his own CDs every year. His latest album is "Enjoy the Ride."

"Just great to be back here and I look forward, I am going to be actually recording a live record during these bunch of dates. I'm going to be recording a bunch of shows. We're hoping to compile a live record from this," Lewis said.

His next stop is Cleveland. The tour consists of eight shows in 10 days

Lewis was a lead singer with Average White Band for many years. His first concert with them was actually in Youngstown.
