SALEM, Ohio - Plans are in the works for a new hotel and other development on property next to Kufleitner Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge.

Larry Kosiba, executive director of the Sustainable Opportunity Development Center tells 21 News  that California investors have optioned land adjacent to the dealership, and plan to construct a hotel on the property near the Route 62 bypass.

Kosiba tells 21 News that the hotel will be designed to support the oil and gas industry in the region. He expects remaining 40 acres will also be commercially developed.

Kosiba says the deal was facilitated by the Sustainable Opportunity Development Center, which according to it's web site, helps improve entrepreneurs' chances of establishing successful technology based enterprises in Salem.
