Mowing accident kills landscaping employee in Neshannock Township

NESHANNOCK TOWNSHIP, Pa.- A riding lawnmower rolls over killing a man in Lawrence County.

The man, a commercial landscaping employee, was cutting grass on private property around 6 p.m. in Neshannock Township when the accident happened Friday. He was on the 3400 block of Banberry Lane.

He became pinned beneath the lawnmower and against a fence on a hillside.

The man, who was in his thirties, died at the scene.

His name has not yet been released.

Neshannock Police said that next of kin still needed to be notified.
