CINCINNATI (AP) - Strong storms knocked out power to thousands of customers in southwestern Ohio on Saturday.
Duke Energy reported some 22,000 without power in Hamilton County, though that number had been cut in half by late evening. The National Weather Service says the storm dropped more than an inch of rain and wind gusts up to 60 mph.
Two southbound lanes of Interstate 75 were briefly closed because of the storms.
Additional storms are expected into Sunday.
