Steelers TE Miller inching toward return

PITTSBURGH (AP) - Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Heath Miller is happy to be off the physically unable to perform listm but still isn't sure when he will return to practice or suit up for a game.

The 2-time Pro Bowler tore three ligaments in his right knee last December. He called the move to get off the PUP list a step in the right direction, but left it up to coach Mike Tomlin to make the final call when Miller can slip on the shoulder pads.

Miller led the Steelers with 71 receptions and eight touchdowns last season. The 30-year-old says he's trying not to look too far down the road and won't rush back.

Second-year tight end David Paulson will likely start in Miller's place Sunday when the Steelers open the season against Tennessee.

    Campbell City Schools announced that they will be closed today (Friday)  after the city issued a precautionary city wide boil alert, The alert was issued as crews worked to repair a water line break in the area of Jackson Street off Wilson Avenue. Police tell 21 News that calls about the break began coming in to the station at around 10 o'clock Thursday night.

Mohip is proposing two days of mediation and professional development. While board member Dario Hunter agrees there is a problem, he says the biggest issue is Mohip's lack of transparency and communication.
