YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - A mayoral candidate for the city of Youngstown will hold a press conference today detailing the first 100 days of his administration if elected.

According to a release, candidate DeMaine Kitchen will lay out his plans to tackle the city's primary issues, including crime, education and jobs.

The event will take place today at 1 p.m. at his campaign headquarters at 16 Wick Ave. in downtown Youngstown.

Kitchen is one of three candidates running for the mayor seat in November.

Other candidates include John McNally, who recently won the democratic endorsement in the primary election, and John Crea, an independent candidate.

Kitchen was recently endorsed by former Youngstown Police Department Chief Jimmy Hughes, who originally ran against him before dropping out of the race in July.
