Austintown business pays tribute to Our Valley's Bravest

Posted: Updated:

AUSTINTOWN TWP., Ohio - Next Wednesday is Patriot Day, commemorating 12 years since the attack on 9-11. One valley business observed the day early by honoring valley veterans.

The 7th Annual Patriots Day Bike Night was held Wednesday night at the Quaker Steak and Lube in Austintown.

Organizers say the event pays homage to our men and women in uniform and honors both past and present armed forces members.

Mike Case from WFMJ was the guest MC for this year's ceremony.

A skydiver dropped into the event, and 11-year-old Cortney Mackay performed patriotic songs .

The invocation was led by Chaplin Dale Baringer Marine Corps League 494 and a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran.
