Niles Band Night rocks Bo Rein Stadium

NILES, Ohio - Bo Rein Stadium played host to area marching bands Thursday night.

Niles McKinley band members warmed up the crowd to get the evening started. Then, McDonald, Mineral Ridge, Lakeview, Howland and Warren Harding bands showcased their talents

The band night was originally scheduled for last week, but was postponed because of a rainy forecast.

    Power was knocked out to a small part of a Youngstown neighborhood after a car crashed into a pole on Belmont Avenue Wednesday. The Oldsmobile Cutlass went off the road and onto a sidewalk outside a church near Fairgreen avenue early Wednesday afternoon. The car received heavy front end damage, but the driver wasn't seriously injured. FirstEnergy says fewer than five customers lost power.
