MCDONALD, Ohio - Authorities in McDonald are investigating an accident that seriously injured a Steubenville woman Monday afternoon.

First responders were called to a self storage facility at the  corner of Ohio Avenue and McKinley Boulevard after workers in the area heard a woman screaming.

The victim was found on the ground, reportedly struck by a rolloff dumpster that was attached to a truck the woman had been driving.

McDonald police believe she was injured when the truck began rolling down an incline.

The truck rolled over the lower part of her body.

Police say the woman's injuries are serious. She's undergoing surgery at Saint Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown.

The name of the victim has not been released, but authorities say she is 40 years old, from Steubenville.
