Scheduled 9-11 memorials around The Valley

BOARDMAN, Ohio - A number of events will be held around the Valley tomorrow in observance of 9/11.

BOARDMAN

Boardman will hold a tree decoration ceremony at 9 a.m. at Stadium Drive Elementary School at 111 Stadium Drive.

Police and fire officials will speak to students, and a tree will be planted in honor of the victims of the attack.

WARREN

Warren will also hold a small service, including a moment of silence and a stand at attention, at 10 a.m. at the Central Fire station at 111 S. Main Street.

Austintown

Austintown will hold their 12th annual anniversary memorial of the 9/11 attacks at 6 p.m. at the 911 memorial park at 1055 S. Raccoon Road.

The memorial will feature a Shotgun Volley, moment of silence, and a display of one of the fire engines that served on the day of the attacks.
