YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - The United Methodist Community Center will receive $30,000 after winning out in an online voting competition.
The award is presented by Palo Creative, as part of the CommunIT technology giveaway. The center received 151,508 public votes during the competition, according to a release.
The center hopes to use the IT upgrade to "enhance its web presence to better educate residents on its services ad assist with program sign-up."
In addition to the monetary award, the center will also receive a new website update.
