Mineral Ridge business lets people take out their frustrations

Posted: Updated:

MINERAL RIDGE, Ohio - If you aren't really sure how to take out your frustrations without doing something illegal, there's a local business that may offer some stress relief.

Gregg Scholl operates the Wrecking Room on Main Street in Mineral Ridge.

For $20 customers can spend four minutes taking out their frustrations by smashing, breaking and throwing things.

Scholl says they have hosted bachelor parties, team building events for local businesses.

"We had people that came up here as far as Rogers.", said Scholl. "They were two wonderful girls that broke up with their boyfriends and they were going to get it out of them"

The majority of the items used for smashing are found along the side of the road or purchased at flea markets.

Scholl says you can bring your own items and get a ten percent discount.
