Body found in Columbiana County suspected suicide

SAINT CLAIR TWP., Ohio - Authorities now say a body in Beaver Creek State Park is a case of suicide.

The body was found on Wednesday in the park's picnic area one.

Although state troopers investigating the case blocked off the area which they characterized as a crime scene, they told 21 news this afternoon that they beleive the death was a case of suicide.

Authorities say the victim is a 50-year-old male who left a suicide note.

    People living in  hundreds of homes in the East Market Street area of Warren and Howland woke up in the dark Thursday morning after being hit by a power outage. Warren police called FirstEnergy after neighbors reported that a transformer blew out in the area of Broadway Avenue SE and Northwood Dr. SE.
