Youngstown Police: Shot fired, man barricaded in home

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Police are at the scene of a possible standoff after reports of a shot fired in Youngstown that led to a man barricading himself inside his home.

The incident first began around 1 p.m. Sunday at a home on 545 Glacierview Drive.

A man, said to possibly be unstable, allegedly started using a gun in his home; family of the suspect then ran out of the home and reported him to police. 

Police do not have specific details about the identity of the man but have set up a perimeter outside of the house, and have called for a Crisis Response Team.
