Niles man threatens to kill a baby over $20

Posted: Updated:

WARREN, Ohio - A Niles man threatened to kill his girlfriend and her 2-year-old son because he needed $20.

A woman called Warren police on September 15th, claiming that Eric N. Taylor, 26, ransacked her house and threatened to kill her and her toddler if she did not give him the money.

She said she rushed out of the house to get away from Taylor.

The woman also claimed that Taylor cracked the windshield of her van, broke her television, and caused other damage in her home.

When officers arrived at the home on Logan Avenue, they found the suspect hiding on the roof.

Taylor was arrested and charged with assault, aggravated menacing, criminal mischief, and criminal damages.
