Suspect arrested in New Castle after trying to flee from police twice

Posted: Updated:
NEW CASTLE, Pa. - A suspect involved in a crash tried to flee from police not once, but twice.

A motorist pulled over for a routine traffic stop by New Castle Police, took off
but didn't get far, when he crashed into a porch that three people were on at
the time of the collision.

"We seen the car coming, he must of lost control and ended up crashing into the porch," said Rose Kelly. "Then he thought he was going to run and my brother tackled him."

One person was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital. Police apprehended the suspect and had him in custody for questioning. Officers recovered drugs from inside the
car.
