YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - The Struthers woman sentenced to 15 years in prison earlier this month for allowing her three sons to be abused by her ex-boyfriend, is appealing her sentence.

Shain Widdersheim filed an appeal Thursday of the sentence she received following the death of her son, 14-year-old Teddy Foltz.

Foltz died in January from a beating death he received from Zaryl Bush.

Bush received a sentence of 33 years to life.
