Shoppers crowd into Boardman's Oktoberfest.

Posted: Updated:

BOARDMAN TOWNSHIP, Ohio - It was that time of the year for the 37th year of a popular festival in Boardman.

150 vendors gathered at the township park for Oktoberfest.

Along with fall and holiday crafts, there were demonstrations, entertainment, strolling musicians and festival food for people like Struthers resident Alana Rivello.

"Usually I leave with purses and jewelry, but this year I'm doing some house shopping.", said Rivello.

"I think it's just family oriented. It really makes it special for everybody to come out, and there's something for everybody." said Zayna Gasoir of Struthers.

Oktoberfest is put on each year by the Rotary Club.
