WARREN, Ohio - A local high school team captured a state championship over the weekend.

The Delphi Elite Robotics Team from Warren G. Harding won the championship with their Frisbee-tossing robot in competition with 23 other schools.

"The object of this game was to shoot Frisbees into goals and then climb a pyramid at the end of the game in the last 30 seconds," says team member Tyce Gall.

"We came in with an open mind that we may possibly get a win and it was great a great experience," says member Seth Genova.

Other area schools that made it to the competition in Cincinnati were Austintown, Girard and Canfield.
