SOUTHINGTOWN TOWNSHIP, Ohio - Underage drinking charges have been filed against two juveniles after a fatal vehicle accident in Warren.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, two juveniles were with Christina Pettry, 42, of Garrettsville when she was struck by two vehicles while trying to cross US 422 near Leiby Osborne Road on the night of August 14.

The juveniles had been allegedly drinking that night and Pettry may had been trying to help them cross the street.

Officials confirm that Pettry's blood alcohol content that night was 0.227; almost three times the legal driving limit.

OSP says the case has now been handed over to the Trumbull County Prosecutor's office.
