Federal agents investigate blast inside pickup truck in Warren

Posted: Updated:

WARREN, Ohio - Fire investigators and agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms are trying to determine the cause of an early morning explosion outside of a Warren bar.

At approximately 4 a.m. Friday, a pickup truck exploded outside of the Summit Lounge on Summit Street Northwest.

The owner of the truck lives in the house next door to the bar, which are both owned by Ed Ensinger.

Ensinger tells 21 news that investigators found a rag in the gas tank.

Ensinger says he'll have to take extra precautions. "I'm going to move my bikes and set up cameras outside now.  I have cameras inside.  I'll have to set them up outside now."

Ensinger is glad that no one was injured and that his property wasn't damaged.
