YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - A YSU student will be singing at a Pirates playoff game if they advance to the championship series.

YSU Junior, Lauren Minenok, will sing the national anthem at the game.

She says she's been singing for the Pirates since she was in sixth grade, and it would be an honor to sing at a game that means so much to fans.

"It would be unbelievable. I love the city of Pittsburgh, I love the Pirates. Just being there with all of those fans and all of the camaraderie of it. I can't even imagine how exciting it would be.", said Mineok.

The game that decides it all is set for Wednesday against the St. Louis Cardinals.
