WHITE DEER, Pa. - State police say an early morning collision between a Greyhound bus and a tractor-trailer in central Pennsylvania killed one person and sent dozens of others to hospitals.

State police said a woman was killed in the crash reported shortly before 2 a.m. Wednesday on Interstate 80 in White Deer Township in Union County.

Greyhound spokeswoman Alexandra Pedrini says of the 49 passengers who were taken to area hospitals, 38 have been treated and released. Those people were transported by a relief bus to their final destination.

Pedrini said the bus was heading nonstop from New York City to Cleveland.
