Youngstown police seeking suspects in restaurant robbery

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Police are working to identify two suspects who robbed a restaurant on the city's south side.

The manager of the Taco Bell at 3726 Market Street told police that two males, approximately 16 to 20 years old, held up the business shortly after 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.

According to a police report, one of the suspects pulled a gun and ordered the employees to empty the safe and cash register drawers.

The suspects loaded approximately $600 into a duffel bag and left the restaurant.

One witness told employees that he saw two people fitting the description of the suspects jump into a gold Chevy Malibu and drive westbound on West Judson Avenue..

Police are reviewing surveillance tapes in an attempt to identify the suspects.

No one was injured during the robbery.
