Youngstown woman found murdered in New Jersey

RIVERTON, NJ - Authorities in New Jersey are investigating the murder of a 22-year-old Youngstown woman.

According to a news release from the Burlington County NJ prosecutor's office, the body of Te'Aira Denise Earvin was found on Sunday in the Borough of Riverton, NJ.

Earvin's body was discovered by law enforcement officials following 9-1-1 call at 5:23 a.m. reporting an unconscious and unresponsive woman on the ground on Carriage House Lane between Lippincott and Thomas Avenues in the borough.

An autopsy performed by the Burlington County Medical Examiner indicated the victim died as a result of gunshot wounds. The manner of death was listed as homicide.

No arrests have been made. The case is being investigated by the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office and the Riverton Borough Police Department.
