Posted: Updated:

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - A Boardman woman found murdered in New Jersey was scheduled to face drug charges in Youngstown.

According to Mahoning County Court records, 22-year old Te'Aira Earvin was to be arraigned on a drug possession charge on Wednesday.

She was indicted by the county grand jury on October 3.

Youngstown Municipal Court records show that the original drug charge against Earvin was filed by the Ohio Highway Patrol on August 2.

According to the court record, when officials attempted to serve Earvin with the indictment at her Boardman home last Thursday, they found the apartment was vacant.

Authorities in New Jersey are still investigating the murder of  Earvin, whose body was found on Sunday in the Borough of Riverton, NJ.

An autopsy performed by the Burlington County Medical Examiner indicated the victim died as a result of gunshot wounds.

No arrests have been made.

Anyone with information that would be useful to investigators is asked to call Burlington County Central Communications at 609-265-7113.
