Tiffany Boulevard in Boardman to close for construction

Posted: Updated:
BOARDMAN TOWNSHIP, Ohio - Beginning Wednesday, Tiffany Blvd. on the north side of US 224 will be closed for pavement reconstruction.

The Ohio Department of Transportation says the work will continue through early November.

The detour will be US 224 to South Ave. to Doral Dr.

The following closure and restriction is currently in place at the I-680 & US 224 interchange:

  • Motorists who use the I-680 southbound ramp to US 224 westbound will use a new traffic pattern where they now will stop at the intersection of US 224 before making a right turn.
  • The ramp from I-680 northbound to US 224 is closed through late October. The detour is Western Reserve Rd. to South Ave.
  • US 224 between I-680 and Tiffany Blvd. is reduced to one lane in each direction for roadway widening and interchange modifications. Motorists should expect delays in this area.

The work is part of a $5.4 million project to widen the US 224 bridge over I-680 and improve the I-680/US 224 interchange. The entire project is scheduled to be completed by late October 2014.
