Ohio and Pennsylvania polls open Tuesday morning

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Officials from the  Mahoning County Board of Elections on Monday performed a last minute inspection of optical scanners that will be used to tally votes in Tuesday's election.

Voters in Youngstown will be choosing a new Mayor and will decide whether or not to approve an amendment that would ban the gas and oil drilling practice known as fracking within city limits.

Local school districts asking for NEW money include Canfield, Sebring, South Range, Lordstown, Columbiana Exempted Village, Bristol, West Branch, Howland, Southington and United Local.

Polls in Ohio open at 6:30 a.m. and close at 7:30 p.m.

In Pennsylvania, voting begins at 7:00 a.m. and finishes at 8:00 p.m.
