Everything else pales as Michigan game approaches

Posted: Updated:

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - The Ohio State Buckeyes didn't spend a whole lot of time enjoying their school-record 23rd straight win and spot in the Big Ten championship game.

Moments after the third-ranked Buckeyes (11-0, 7-0) achieved those goals with a 42-14 win over Indiana on a snowy, blustery Saturday night, they were already talking about their annual grudge match on Saturday against archrival Michigan.

From a distance, it might look like a trap game: The Buckeyes have little to play for beyond holding on to what they've already got - an unbeaten season.

On top of that, the Wolverines (7-4, 3-4) have lost four of their last six games and have had major problems running the ball and scoring points.

But the Buckeyes are wary. And excited.
