Youngstown's Paramount Theater demolition expected to be complete soon

Posted: Updated:

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Demolition of the old Paramount Theater should be complete within the next few days.

Law Director Anthony Farris said the process should be finished by the end of the week.

The project hit a few bumps throughout the demolition process, including weather issues and a deeper basement to fill than expected.

The city spoke with the contracting company amid worries that they would not be able to pave the parking lot before the end of construction season.
