Valley under a Winter Storm Warning

Posted: Updated:

The snow is here and conditions will continue to deteriorate this afternoon and evening.

As the storm moves out of the Southeast and into the mid-Atlantic states, snow will become heavy across eastern Ohio and western Pennsylvania this evening.

Snow will become lighter after midnight, but it will continue to stick. Total accumulations across the viewing area will be in the 5-10" range by daybreak Wednesday.

Lake-effect snow may add to snow totals Wednesday and Wednesday night, especially north of I-80. Some places may piack up a couple of additional inches. Wednesday will be windy, resulting in blowing and drifting snow.

Thanksgiving will be calmer, but very cold! Shoppers will have frigid weather to deal with Friday morning as well.
