State Rep. Hagan introduces bill that would require triple wages for working on Thanksgiving

COLUMBUS, Ohio - An Ohio legislator wants retailers to think twice about scheduling employees to work on Thanksgiving Day.

State Representative Bob Hagan is sponsoring an amendment that would require triple wages for retail employees who work on Thanksgiving.

The bill would also prohibit employers from taking action against workers who refuse to work on the holiday.

Hagan just introduced the bill on Tuesday.
